Essential Functions
  1. Provide guidance to determine career goals and necessary experience and education to support finding training and employment opportunities
  2. Provide and arrange for services that supports the customer's preparedness for employment
  3. Match customers with job orders available on an ongoing basis
  4. Work closely with Business Services Representatives with follow-up of referred clients
  5. Ensure all case notes are completed daily, ensuring quality control and all facts are stated
  6. Assist with all program audits
  7. Review files for assigned participants to assure files are accurate based on program procedures
  8. Conduct retention checks to employers on all successfully completed participants and assure all retentions are case noted and contacts are made as required to participants
  9. Coach, mentor and advocate for assigned participants to support their development and job placement 
  10. Train and present topics associated with job readiness and job searching
Skills & Experience
  1. Minimum of 1 year experience in job placement and training; or working with youth
  2. Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  3. Organized and strong attention to details   
  4. Knowledge of the private sector and its employment needs 
  5. Good advocacy and job matching skill
  6. Experience working with diverse, at risk, and vulnerable populations
  7. Ability to inspire and encourage others
  8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  9. Proven track record in delivering on performance goals and metrics
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a field role with a need to perform clerical and administrative duties in a physical office. Role requires an extensive amount of mobility. Reliable transportation is required.

Hours Of Work
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Position requires the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Reporting Relationships

This position reports to the Center Director or Program Manager and works in collaboration with E&ES staff.
