Summary/Objective
The Director of Business & Industry Solutions is charged with building relationships and strategies around implementation of business and industry solutions to address the workforce needs of Industry and Business Partners of E&ES
Core Purpose
The Business & Industry Solutions team is charged with the design, implementation, and management of solutions that meet the needs of our business and industry partners. The team functions as a bridge between E&ES’ capabilities (products, services, training programs, and workforce development initiatives) and the needs of external stakeholders in specific industries.
Essential Functions
Creates and leverages strategic business resources and solutions for our portfolio of company and future partners. Drives collaboration and coordination between multiple stakeholders internally and externally to deliver on program goals and initiatives.
Strategic Partnerships – Builds and maintains relationships with industry leaders, employers, and trade associations, etc. to identify the workforce and skills and experience requirements necessary
Business Development – Identifies opportunities to expand the organization’s services or solutions to meet evolving industry demands. Cultivates partnerships with businesses and industry agencies to be proactively involved in the program initiatives that address their workforce needs and drive E&ES business growth
Industry Alignment – Ensures offerings (training, consulting, products, or workforce programs) are aligned with market trends and employer needs
Program Design & Implementation – Oversees the development of solutions such as customized training, technology integration, or consulting projects. Partners with E&ES Program Leaders and Staff to identify ways to enhance processes, partnerships, program results and customer experience
Leverage Data & Resources – Determines action plans to ensure services provided are effective and address the business needs while driving the program strategies and goals as required
Thought Leadership – Stays ahead of trends in industries (healthcare, IT, manufacturing, etc.) to advise both internal teams and external partners
Team Leadership – Leads staff responsible for partnership development, program management, or client success. Serves as a representative and ambassador of Employment & Employer Services, Inc. externally to all current and potential stakeholders

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a sedentary role; however, some travel to various office locations may be required.
Expected Hours of Work
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Reporting Relationships
This position reports to the President & CEO and works in collaboration with Senior Leadership Team.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
2. 5+ years of experience in workforce development and job placement
3. 3 or more years in a supervisory role, partnership creation and recruitment/sales
