Summary/Objective

The Manager of Quality Assurance will be responsible for overseeing and managing both data management processes/operations and quality assurance of assigned programs. Acts as a partner to senior and local leadership and other program staff. Charged with many of the administrative aspects at their assigned office location. Leads staff as assigned.

Essential Functions

  1. Directly leads assigned staff as well as provides administrative oversight as necessary for program and customers
  2. Compiles, prepares and analyzes data collected from all reporting sources
  3. Reviews data reports from funder and other funding sources for inconsistencies and errors
  4. Reviews internal reports and documentation for inconsistencies and errors
  5. Manages allocation strategy for all customer leads regarding program goals, capacity, and external factors.
  6. Owner of assigned program performance reports and presents verifiable supporting documentation for final reporting
  7. Maintains databases and conducts routine maintenance to ensure data integrity
  8. Assists with the development and formulation of goals and division of work.
  9. Responsible for maintaining up to date performance and caseload records for assigned program
  10. Owns reporting that will include but is not limited to tracking of documentation received by staff, documentation entered into the assigned database, supportive services received and issued
  11. Drives timely data entry of documents into the assigned database. Prior to entering documents and information of staff, the Quality Assurance Manager will confirm accuracy based on documentation guidelines
  12. Owns, maintains, and monitors program files to ensure audit-ready
  13. Analyzes audit outcomes and carry out appropriate corrective procedures

Skills and Experience

  • 1 year of experience with leading a team
  • 3-5 years of proven administrative compliance or quality assurance experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse, at-risk, and vulnerable populations
  • Extensive experience and expertise with reporting software (MS Excel and MS Access)
  • MS Access – Import/Export data, create tables/queries, link tables/queries
  • Works well independently and as a team member
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Communication skills that lend themselves to building effective partnerships with funders and related service providers

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a field role with a need to perform clerical and administrative duties in a physical office. This role may require an extensive amount of mobility.

Hours of Work

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Position requires the ability to work on evenings and weekends as needed.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to a Senior Leadership Team member and partners closely with Program Leadership, Quality Assurance Specialists, and Program Support Specialists. Will also maintain positive relationships with funders and partner agencies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited College/University (required) OR related experience.
